Melissa is the kind of person that you meet and instantly want to be her best friend. Her energy radiates in any room she enters. She is the epitome of beauty and grace, and George compliments her perfectly. I mean, these two were MADE for each other, and nothing was stopping them from having their best day.

Getting ready photos began at no other that Hotel Monteleone, which fitted perfectly to Melissa's old Hollywood style. After a few drinks, Tiktok dances, and lots of hugs, Melissa and her girls were dressed. The bridesmaids were each dressed in a custom Tray Diva dress, and Melissa in her wedding gown, which she found years ago in a Goodwill store in NYC (seriously! She tried it on and it fit like a glove). From there were walked to the Cathedral, bouquets in hand, singing "going to the Chapel."

The ceremony was held in the equally famous St. Louis Cathedral. The Cathedral, which Melissa told me she always wanted to get married in, was in mid construction during their wedding. Im talking floor to ceiling scaffolding everywhere! But that didn't phase Melissa one bit. She said that she loves this church, and that's where she wants to be married, no matter what it looks like. She was such a champ about the entire experience, that she even hung from the scaffolding (seriously, there's proof below!)

We snapped their portraits just outside of the Cathedral on the busiest, windiest day in the French Quarter, and it was beautiful.

The reception was held at Brennans restaurant in the Quarter and was complete with the most beautiful dances, cake pulls, a Gatsby worthy outfit change, and a flash mob! It was perfection. In the short time I spent with Melissa, I knew this was forever going to be one of my favorite weddings and she was going to be my favorite bride. Congratulations Melissa + George! It was an honor to get to know you both <3
