reminiscing on some pre-corona weddings and finally decided that its time to blog this beauty. This wedding was seriously one for the books. Kyla and Nick, along with 50 of their closet friends, flew from Colorado to Nola to celebrate their wedding and it was magical.

THE WEDDING DAY

The bridal party got ready at the Eliza Jane Hotel on Magazine St. Ya'll, this hotel was amazing. Filled with plenty of natural light and such cool hidden places for portraits. I seriously loved this place and I want to take a "stay"cation there. I seriously recommend it to all my brides. We drove from the Eliza Jane to the first look under the pavilion at City Park. WE explored the park where we took some portraits, shared some laughs, and of course had beignets from Cafe Du Monde. We then headed to Broussards for the most perfect daddy-daughter first look (such a tear jerker) and had a little bit of downtime before Kyla and Nicks intimate ceremony at Herma-Grima House. WE went straight into a second line through the streets after the ceremony, and then back to Broussards for the reception. (Side note: If you ever find yourself at Broussards, get the crawfish eftouffee, you will not regret it)!! Seriously, this wedding couldn't have been more perfect. It was the last wedding we shot before the virus took most of the world out, and I couldn't have asked for a better team.
